And on their site.  I do not see them.  You could try a chat with support, but they may not have released them yet.

If I remember correctly, Prusa announced on a prior Prusa Live that they would keep them under wraps long to avoid cloning.

yep i was looking for these as well to get a headstart.  gonna do them all in a nice lime green hatchbox abs I think.

now that we know the files in Printable which will be PETG Galaxy Black and which will be Orange? Like the factory one I mean... will there be only PETG or also ASA? and in the upgrade kit which filament will we find?? too many questions... 🤭

I think in times past the parts in the extruder were prusa black petg except for the shroud which I think was black abs.   I think the other parts were all prusa orange petg.   For the MK3S+ -> MK4 upgrade I'm doing all the parts in hatchbox pastel green abs.   I'm not sure if the MK4 extruder has any parts that really need to be in ABS or better like the MK3 extruder does.   I figured it couldn't hurt to do them all in ABS(or similar).

I think it's right your thinking to make the parts in ABS. I was asking because I should buy filament and I don't know exactly which one to get. The extruder parts of the MK3s are made of ASA the cooling part

The print instructions for the MK4 files on printable say to print in PETG and list recommended settings. The print instructions for MK3S+ list PETG for all but the fan shroud, which they recommend ASA for. My takeaway is that none of the MK4 files need to be in ASA, or they would have listed it in the print instructions.

Just try to print the same part once in PETG and once in ABS or ASA. If they have to conform to certain measurements to fit to other parts, the question answers itself. 🙂

yep, I hope I don't run in to any tolerance issues lol   I might pause doing these until the actual kit arrives.  I'm only doing one printer at a time to be sure I have a working printer with all these abs parts lol

Yes, always keep one printer fully functional or you will most likely regret it! 🙂

in theory my 5 extruder XL will ship in may so worst case I'd have that to print the MK4 parts on haha

Fancy doing my parts in PETG-CF, should be resilient enough for all aspects of the pinter, thoughts?

It is, as long as you don't plan to operate the printer in an enclosure which can get fairly hot. But if your electronics can take the heat, PETG can too, CF or not. If you reach beyond 45°C in your enclosure during print I would say that maybe ABS, ABS+ or ASA would be a better choice.
