Initial Loadcell Test Failure

Finished building the kit and during the Loadcell Pre-flight check, no matter when I tap the hotend, it does not register. It doesn't fail, it just doesn't register at all and I'm in a loop of trying again or aborting. If I abort and proceed through the rest of the test, everything goes smoothly, except for Z calibration (it's probably related. I'll mention it more later).

After testing is done, and I go to look at the values in Sensor Info, the Loadcell idles at around 0 to -20, and when I tap it then, the value changes.

Also, the hotter the hotend is, the lower the Loadcell Value becomes. I do not know if this is relevant information. At 100 C, Loadcell Value is at -300

Firmware is up to date, no wires are frayed, and I have re-seated the connection from the sensor.

The Z calibration goes as follows: it goes all the way to the top, grinds for a second, then descends about two thirds of the way down and stops, never coming close to the bed. Could this be because of the failed loadcell not being available to prevent it from smashing into the bed?

I haven't been able to find any similar posts anywhere so hopefully I can get this sorted and then help others with a similar problem.

Sorry if this sounds a bit paranoid, but I just don't want to print anything till I know I'm 100% ready to go.

This is my exact problem. Did anyone get an answer for this?

Check zrod alignment again, and filament path, if the filament is snagging or zrod is binding a little from not being centered it will stop before coming to the bed

RE: Initial Loadcell Test Failure

Z alignment tests pass.

I can reset 0 by driving it up all the way until it maxes out and the pull it down all the way to the bed  no obvious binding occurs

no filament in there not has there ever been.

support is sending a new load cell sensor so hopefully that will be the answer to the load cell issue.

z axis: I dunno if that will fix it  seems like something is off and I can’t tell what  gonna try the soup can test
