How to install large z-axis rods in mk3 to mk4 kit
The large z-axis rods are necessary to hold the added weight of the nxtruder. They are too large to fit the printed parts. The parts split with the torque used in the installation. How do you solve this issue?

Did you print the upgrade parts by yourself?
If yes, maybe there is just a little bit of burr which has to be removed or a slight chamfer could be helpful.
I upgraded mine and have had not such problems.

I printed all the parts for my two upgrade kits in abs. They were snug for sure, but they went in.

Forgot to say, I printed in PETG

Unfortunately, I printed the "R2" revision of the parts. I paid someone on EBAY for new parts; but received "R2" revision parts. PRUSA said that the "R3" revision corrects all of their previous mistakes. I notified the EBAY seller and I hope that this merchant will provide me with "R3" revision parts. My printer is completely disassembled. I cannot print anything. The printed bearing clips split. In my opinion, this is a design flaw. The "z-axis" bearings are wide and heavy. They should use metal bearing clips like those on the "y-axis". I believe PRUSA should address the obvious design flaws.

I do recall having to be pretty forceful with get rods into some of the parts. The only thing I had issues with for abs was the y axis rod holders, I ended up printing those in prusament petg. abs isn't a good material for those because of how thin they are.
