Hot end assembly question
Hello,
I was working on getting my extruder setup and got to the step of the Hot End Assembly. The directions are to push the hot end into the heatsink with a 2mm gap from the heatsink. How far in does it have to go and is this ok? I can't get it to go in much further...
Is that ok or does it need to be in the whole way?

It looks just a tad low. I’m not sure if that will cause an issue or not. Mine went it to the level outlined in the assembly pictures with no effort.
Are both of the thumbscrews loose?

Yeah that's what it "should" do, but mine seems to stop part way before continuing in. The brass or copper part that is above it will not go into the heat sink like that for me. It stops just as it starts to enter. Should I try to use a pair of pliers and hammer it in?

Thanks, I talked to support last night and am awaiting information from the quality team. I sent more pictures too. We'll see what happens.
