RE: Heat block moves freely - thumb screws dont help
remove the nozzle / heat break / heat block assembly thingy (precice and scientific term for it, i know) and tighten the nozzle (screw it into the heat block)
RE: Heat block moves freely - thumb screws dont help
Standard MK4 nozzle, tighten as instructed above.
If using the V6 adapter, it must be re-tightened after heating to assure it stays tight. If the V6 adapter, take the nozzle apart, clean the nozzle and adapter ends. Make sure no plastic in the threads of the heat block. Then assemble per Prusa instructions.
I recommend a sock also.
RE: Heat block moves freely - thumb screws dont help
I've had this happen twice before and the 2 thumb screws for the nozzle were tight. But the heating block could be rotated around the nozzle until the cables held it in place.I then tightened the nozzle again with 1.5 Nm (Wera torque screwdriver). Let's see how long it lasts now.I think tightening the nozzle when cold is not the optimal option. But if it is specified by Prusa or E3D.
