Front left consistently failing on 2 machines
We have 4 MK4s in our FabLab for printing student architectural models. We do a lot of site models which require multiple prints that occupy most of the print bed. I've noticed that on at least 2 of our machines, the front left of the print bed doesn't want to adhere properly. I've run the same file on these machines and the exact same thing happens. I've even rotated the model 180 degrees to see if it's that part of the model. That would be a nice easy fix. Unfortunately, it's still lift at the front left. There's plenty of surface area to adhere properly but it's still not playing ball. We've played around with the print bed temperature but still no change. Any ideas?

Finger prints...
MAKE SURE THE BUILD PLATE IS SCRUPULOUSLY CLEAN.
I use dishsoap and hot water, then rinse well with hot water and dry immediately.
with plain paper towels
I find this better than Isopropyl Alcohol which tends to spread finger grease and contaminants over a larger area.

What material and which build plate? This combination can affect how well the print adheres.

I'll give that a go. It would make sense given that the front corners are where I pick the build plate form. So greasy fingers would certainly make a difference!

We have the smooth PEI sheets they came with and only print with PLA on these machines.

Ok that's what I would use with PLA. You can try some glue stick also.
