First non-test print fails, calibrated, now x axis fails?

'm hoping someone has had this happen and that it has an easy fix.

Got the MK4 new on Friday, spend several hours on Saturday and Sunday assembling. Had a couple of things I had to adjust when it did the first self test (Y axis belt needed adjustment, and I had forgotten to tighten the bed heater power screws), but despite that, first try on the keychain test print went flawlessly. I loaded up Prusa slicer, sliced my first file to print - it's basically a small sign that is about 2.5 cm shorter than the width of the bed, 5 cm shorter than the height, and only about 2.5 cm tall on the z axis.

About 1/8th of the way into the print, I noticed the x axis had shifted, and the print was off by about 1 cm. So, I cancelled the print, popped off the bad part and I looked up what could cause that. One of the main culprits it seem was that the tension on the x axis was not tight enough, and when I checked that belt it was a bit loose (when using the site for testing it). Easy enough, right? I tighten the belt tension screw for X axis, test it with the belt tuner, it passes, and I turn the printer back on and try to start the print up again. This time, though, it tries to home the X axis and it fails. Tried doing the calibration step again, also fails. It was at first just smacking the right side and then failing after a few seconds. I then go through and do the other checks that I found through the forum here, there are no obstructions (that I can see), everything is lined up properly (as far as I can tell), I readjusted the belt a couple of times, at one point taking one end out of the back of the print head, put it back in, then readjusted tension again. I should also note that I even reset the system to factory defaults as well to clear out any bad calibrations. This is what it's currently doing right now:

I really am hoping this is an easy thing to get through. I am coming from an Ender 5 Pro that took multiple hours of adjusting to get one good print, only to then spend multiple hours after the first print to try to figure out why it wouldn't do a second print successfully. Thing stopped trying to print, and I the only fix I could find for what it was doing was having to replace all of the cabling for the print head, and I had already sank way too much time and money into that piece of chinese under-engineering dren. I had read that (in comparison) the MK4 was a far better machine in that regard, and the assembly itself was far easier and less frustrating, I just can't figure out what I need to check next to get this to work. I'm at the point where I don't mind tinkering with a printer, but want it to work far more often than not. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
