Don’t Panic Red Screen

anyone seen this before? I’ve just changed over to the prusa enclosure quick release… what have I done wrong?

Best Answer by ChiefSmeg:

So, just been troubleshooting and worked out what is wrong:

this is from the wiring instructions for the Power Panic lead

and this is mine

It would seem that my connector was pinned incorrectly - Prusa are sending me a new lead

I take it you can't pull the leads and re-insert?

Had a good try at that, I don’t have a de-pinning tool and they were tight in there - the prusa chat guy did suggest pulling them out if possible - no joy unfortunately. I had offered to cut and solder the leads. I have heat shrink sleeping to help do the job properly, but they then just sent me a new cable; it arrives today, they are VERY efficient with their help!

RE:

So, fitted the replacement cable from Prusa today and found a new problem - my selector knob was not reading presses - obviously there is a problem with my display quick release so I pulled it and reverted back to standard - problem went away. I’ll do a pin-to-pin check when I have time and see where I went wrong.
Cannot praise Prusa highly enough for sorting the PSU quick release problem for me though - discussed it with them on Sunday and then the following g Thursday morning it was delivered - they sent a complete new quick release kit too so now I have a spare (that is pinned incorrectly on the power panic).
