Mk3.9S Power Issue

Hi All!

I have the following setup (pictures for reference):
 - 1 Mk2.5 - Taint
 - 2 Mk3.9s - Betty & Tammy - Both with Silver PSU
 - 1 Mk4s - Monica - Black PSU

All three printers work fine, generally.

Issue Statement:

If power flickers at all, causing the UPS to switch to battery, Tammy reboots immediately without implementing power panic.  The other printers continue printing without rebooting OR power panicking.

Testing I've Done - And how to reproduce:

I disconnected all the other printers, lights and RPI.  With ONLY Tammy connected (verified to battery side of UPS) and powered on, I disconnected the UPS from the wall.  The printer immediately rebooted and came back online, powered by the UPS battery.  I reconnected the UPS to the wall and no power disruption or reboots occurred.

I added back the other three printers, LED lights, and RPI.  Verified all are connected to the battery side of the UPS and powered up.  I repeated the above test by disconnecting the UPS from the wall again, and noted that the only issue was Tammy rebooted again.  Reconnecting the UPS to the wall again resulted in no further disruptions.

My Question:

My assumption is that I might have a ground wire or lead not connected correctly to either the PSU on the printer or the controller.  I'm hoping someone has dealt with this and can give me an idea of what to look at first.  Until then I am tracing the wiring and comparing to the mk3 upgrade documentation.

RE:

I'm not quite sure exactly what I was thinking about while I was writing this initial posting, but I made a critical error in some of what I relayed.

Tammy doesn't reboot.  That printer turns completely off and DOES NOT COME back up.  I apologize.  It stays off until the UPS is reconnected to mains power at the wall.  Everything else stays up like nothing happened.  No power issues or reboots at all.  The UPS shows time remaining as normal, but Tammy turns off completely.  Apologies for the error.

Additionally, I inspected the connectivity within the printer and everything is tight and exactly as documented in the manual.  Note the other printer I upgraded to the Mk3.9s spec works fine - also with the silver PSU, and my black PSU Mk4s works fine as well.  So I am stumped.

I'm wondering if perhaps my PSU has some issue and needs to be replaced at this point.  I was sincerely hoping to find a real problem with wiring.

RE: Mk3.9S Power Issue

Contacted support and went through a hard reset to rule out possible issues with settings, etc.  The same issue persists.  None of the three other printers connected to my UPS reboot or turn off when this happens.

To verify, I tested power panic as well.  Interestingly, if I disconnect the printer at the power supply itself, it power panics fine.  If I disconnect the UPS from the wall, however, it does not.

I made a faulty assumption, and now I wonder what is different when the UPS is disconnected.  I will test the voltage at the power supply before and after the UPS is disconnected from the wall to check that.  I suspect either there is a drop/change in voltage that the power supply isn't handling correctly, or there is another issue related to some other aspect of what the UPS is providing when it switches to battery power.
