Im out of ideals. Ive tried to calibrate the Z now for a week and it fails every time. I replaced the PINDA with a new one, firmware is newest.  I don't have anymore of the original zip ties so I've set it between 0.25 and 1.25mm above the bed with the hotend is just barely touching the heatbed. Ive run the Z axis all the way to the top to make sure both Z motors are maxed.

Now it runs the Z down to about 2mm of the bed of fails. Doesnt matter if the sheet is installed or not. Starting completely over with the Wizard just ends up with the hotend running into the bed when the paper is there. The only time it kind of works is if its trying to drill a hole in the bed.

The superpinda should be about 1.5 mm higher. I have this little gadget to help get the right distance: https://www.printables.com/model/57192

but of course it's no good if you can't print it 😩

Edit, Oh wait I don't have a Super PINDA just the Boring PINDA. Is it the same height?

I initially had the same problem with Z-axis calibration after I upgraded from MK3S+ to MK3.5S. It always failed no matter what. After I tightened the M3 screws on parts related to the Z-axis and lubricated a little, it worked for me.

My case can be pure luck... But maybe all you need is just a quick maintenance service.
