MMU3 upgrade with dual extruder on mk3s+
Hello,
I'm seeing a lot of contradicting info about this. I wonder if it is possible to do a dual extruder and MMU upgrade. That works well of course. A lot of things I'm seeing is a dual extruder upgrades don't work well. Thanks in advance!

the MMU1 had 4 extruder motors but it used an add on board to multiplex the 4 motors.
there is no spare motor controller on the mk3 Einsy board. so there is unlikely to be a prusa supported option for dual extruders.
i suspect that you may be able to "Roll Your Own" firmware to use a multiplexor to drive additional external stepper motor drivers to achieve dual extruders, however this would reduce the available travel on the X axis.
