You know you've been 3d printing too long when...

... you try to flex a baking sheet to pop off some stuck cookies.

I see something cool, and wonder where I would have to add supports to print it.

I have a Prusa,therefore I research.

You have a workshop full of woodworking tools and a CNC router that haven't been used in the past 6 months.

noone sais you cant use heated air (or something) in piping about 50cm under the top of your drive concrete.
it doesnt freeze like that in new orleans so i wont be prototyping it no matter how much i want to now.

... Guilty, I've done that, most commonly with images/screenshots of a technical object.

You spend way too much time reading forums looking for things that will probably go wrong with one of your future not-yet-designed parts and just want to be prepared.

ps: And yes, this thread is bolding all posts though not this NOT-BOLD sentence... lol.

In fairness, there are 3d printers that layer paper to make their items 🙂

just got a message about sig today, it was formatted perfectly for the old site, i just never got around to editing it for the new site. their import broke it. its what i get for raw html coding with some sites.

i have only been printing for about 1 year. ive gone full throttle into it. but yes, everything i look at now seems to have an "i need it, i'll make it"
