Would you cancel this print?

In in hour 12 of a 40ish hour print and I noticed one of the supports failed.  Would you cancel the print at this point or monitor and see?  I circled the area where the support failed.

Usually things just get worse but some supports are only marginally important and if you can manage the resulting scraps of spaghetti you may be OK.

BUT

If you have 28 hours to go and if the support goes close to the top then that's an awful lot of monitoring.

I had to cancel, it was getting messy and another support broke loose.  Pumpkins are a pain to print, lots of supports.....

I wish you could circle an area of the print and tell the printer to repair it mid-print!

RE:

If you mean spaghetti selected on the photo? Few time I had it, ad just paused the print, removed the spaghetti and resumed print.
See how it goes, if it fails after next layers, well,  sometimes it's trash and it is better to print in parts.

See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.

I would never have started it.

Agreed, pumpkins are best built over 5 months, starting from a pack of seeds.
