Why the printer changes the target temperature I set in Tune?
Hi, it has happened often that after a print job has started, I go to Tune on the LCD screen to change the target nozzle temperature. I also went to the Information part of the LCD screen to confirm that the target temperature has been set. However, somehow the printer automatically sets the target nozzle temperature by itself to a higher temperature later on during the print job. What is wrong here?
RE: Why the printer changes the target temperature I set in Tune?
It depends on when you adjust it. The temperature will bet set in gcode for the first layer at the start of a print, and with additional gcode commands on the second or higher layer for the rest of the print. If you adjust it while the 1st layer is printing, the next temperature command in the gcode will over-write your change. If it's changing later on, we'd have to see your settings to tell you more. Save your part & settings in a 3MF project file, zip it, and attach it to a reply here if you need more help.

Thanks. Perhaps I did that too earlier. Will keep an eye on it once I get my noisy printer issue fixed. Why they have additional gcode commands for the temperature at higher layers for the rest of the print?
I thought by turning the dial once I hit the start printing button, manual panel control would overwrite whatever temperature set in the gcode.
