Which low weight heat resistant filament?

Hi,

I would like experimenting printing parts such as fan ducts around the print nozzle while keeping the weight to a minimum.

So far, I only printed on PLA and would like something more heat resistant.

I am considering ABS which seems to have a lower density than PLA and higher heat resistance.

Am I heading in the right direction or another material would be more approriate? Are all ABS equals or should I look for any filament in particular?

Thanks for the help!

I'd go with ASA over ABS. Basically the next gen ABS but much easier to print and almost no bad smell. Or try PC-CF, which I like a lot. For both materials check the Prusa materials table for recommendations on print sheet and temperatures. I suggest using an enclosure for ASA or PCCf but you may be okay for smaller parts. And PCCF, you want to dry the hell out of it.
