What should I buy?
I'm thinking it's time to get into 3D printing. I know nothing about the topic except hearing about some brand names such as Makerbot so I've started watching some YouTube to learn. My findings so far is that the Prusa Mini would be a great printer for a beginner.
This would be more of a hobby and I would print things like enclosures for security cameras and smart speakers, toys for the kids, and whatever other models I can find that I think could be fun and useful.
What do you guys think? Would the Mini be a great choice? I don't want to spend more than $1K (CDN) and I don't think that I want a kit as I think I would be a little lost! 🙂

Both the Mini and the MK3s are really good printers.
Being your first printer I would probably go with the Mini due to the lower cost. Plus you can see how it supposed to work and then decide if you want to take on a kit in the future.
Picking the perfect printer is near impossible. What ever you buy, there will be something that it won't do,
If you get it and don't like it, you can always sell it and there is no rule you can only have one.
