What parameters for support materials when printing in PETG?
Hi, I want to print using PETG from Prusa. With PETG, will it be more difficult to remove the support compared with printing in PLA? For support, should I use: only on build plate, reinforce support only or everywhere? What other parameters do you recommend to use for support?
RE: What parameters for support materials when printing in PETG?
Supports will tend to be tricky with PETG as you usually want minimal cooling. This makes it more likely bridged layers will sag and likely bond with the supports. It's not impossible to use removable supports with PETG, but expect it to be extra work.

Thanks, so what parameters in the support settings are recommended?

@bobstro
Another compelling reason why we need a dual extruder, so we can print supports with PVA or other more easily removable material.

Try it and see what happens!
Personally, I haven't had any problems with PETG and supports on build plate. But I would guess it depends on the shape and amount of support you think it will need.
