What is in a name?
i3 MK3S is kind of a mouth full of word salad. Any meaning behind it? Any thought to simplifying it white the next revision (be it i4 or MK4.)

Prusa I3 is Iteration 3 and was preceded by the I2. The I3 was followed by the MK2, MK2S, Mk2.5, MK3, MK3S and probably the MK4. There are sort of sub-iterations.

I3 is a very generic and overloaded term anymore, MK3S has also become generic as clones and close-to clones use that as well.
I've seen clones advertised on Ebay as 'Prusa I3 MK3S', so you really have to say Genuine Prusa MK3S to refer to the exact machine that we know well.
I usually just abbreviate it I3 or MK3S and most folks know exactly what I mean.

According to that article, 'Original Prusa I3' is trademarked, so that's probably the most correct to use when referring to the actual Czech origin Prusa factory printer as opposed to a clone.
That then being modified by the actual version designation (MK3s, etc.) when needed.
Now in casual conversation with others, when I mention that I have the Prusa I3, the most common question I get is 'Real or clone?', as opposed to version.
