What Happened to Live Chat?
Hey everyone,
In the past I have been very impressed with the support that I have received through Live Chat, so much so that is one of the main reasons that I recommend Prusa as the printer of choice. Recently however I no longer see the option for chat and have been very unimpressed with support through email. Does anyone know why we no longer have chat?

Are you logged in to the eshop page?

Re: What Happened to Live Chat?
Apart from one day live chat has always been there. Probably something on your PC is blocking it.
Re: What Happened to Live Chat?
Perhaps he is expecting the live chat to also be available here on the Forum pages? I only see it on the actual shop pages.
Re: What Happened to Live Chat?
Funny, it was PiHole that was blocking the live chat button. I have several colleges that also use it which is why it isn't showing up for them. Thanks everyone!

I discovered that too when I was trying to get tech support. But I have been significant slow downs on page loading with PiHole that I am taking it off. So chat problem solved for me. 🙂
Re: What Happened to Live Chat?

I couldn't find it either - Make sure you are logged into the e-shop, and disable all ad/tracking blockers and it should appear.

Re: What Happened to Live Chat?
It's Live Chat only if you consider a 20 minute wait between responses "Live" ...
Thankfully, I generally only need to chat when their website doesn't want to take my money. Even then waiting 20 minutes is a real buzzkill for spontaneous purchases. Yes, it's costs them money because I refuse to wait 20 minutes for simple product info.
Original i3mk3 not calibrating
Please help me, my original i3mk3 stopped calibrating, i have checked all wiring. All ok and nothing damaged. Even flashing with 3.9.3 did not help.

RE: What Happened to Live Chat?
I realize this thread has been dormant for some time but thought I would add my experience here, in case it helps someone else. I too was not seeing the live chat option, even when signed in.
I thought it may have been some security proxy stuff, but that wasn't it. Turns out that Duck Duck Go Privacy Essentials thinks that anything from livechat.com (who Prusa uses for the chat widget) is a bad tracker. If anyone from Prusa sees this you may want to let LiveChat know that this is happening.

Sometimes 20 minutes for a call to be picked up. When an agent picked it up, he asked me to wait immediately before I posted my question. While waiting, I sent him my first question. When he came back and he was supposed to answer my first question, he asked me to wait again. After another wait, looks like he did not know the answer and had to ask somebody else. He asked me to wait again. Sometimes, he just provided a link which didn't help nor asked me to use defaults settings... No way I would give him a good rating.

@prusanewuser
At least he was trying. In my recent experience the agent, after essentially sizing up the task, determined it was going to require too much effort on his part, so he lied to me in order to get me to leave him alone.
RE: What Happened to Live Chat?
Never had any issues either getting chat working/to appear.
Also must say I have always found the staff to be very helpfull, answer very quickly, and will stay online for as lomg as you need to resolve an issue, I have used chat once before buying and twice after, 5* rating for all 3.
Please bear in mind that we are still in the middle of a pandemic, and the chat staff may be very busy indeed. The demand for printers is surely a pretty accurate reflection of the demand for support.
Tank you very much!
RE: What Happened to Live Chat?
It's a shame to hear that the live chat support option is no longer available. Live chat was a great way to get quick assistance, and it was a key factor in recommending Prusa printers. Hopefully, the company will consider reinstating the live chat feature to improve customer support experience again. Email support alone can be less efficient compared to real-time chat assistance.

RE: What Happened to Live Chat?
what happened to make you think chat is not available
this clip was seen this morning... on the Main Prusa website...
Please be aware the chat window may take a couple of seconds to appear after the main page loads
