Violet transparent PETG filament is actually ABS
Hello,
I had ordered some Prusa filaments along with my MK3 kit. One of them was Violet transparent PETG filament 1KG. It's supposed to be PETG but I'm positive it's actually ABS. When it prints it emits the same smell as ABS does and if it's in a not well ventilated area it irritates my eyes and throat. I also tried to soak it with acetone and it became flexible and deformed easily. Could there be a mix up with the boxes? The box says PETG but I'm 100% sure this isn't PETG. Has anyone else used this filament?

That is a strange issue! Have you contacted the support?

I got a reply from support today and they said that their supplier must have mixed the filament with the boxes. They said they will send me the correct filament. Lets wait and see.
