The MMU2s to MMU3 upgrade kit is no longer being produced by Prusa as of March 12th, 2025. This was announced by the big man @josef-prusa himself on Instagram. The remaining inventory went out of stock a few days ago. I contacted support and they stated the following:
"Unfortunately this upgrade variant kit is not longer available as we stopped the production due low demand, however the required spare parts are available in the eshop"
I spent 5 hours assembling a parts list for the MMU2s to MMU3 upgrade by reading the assembly manual. I cross referenced my parts list to the Prusa store and found that several parts (693-2rs bearings, blades, grub screws, magnetic steel ball, 5mm metal coupler, silicone stopper, etc) required for the MMU2s to MMU3 upgrade are not available on the store, so the statement by the support agent is incorrect.
I am currently trying to source the missing parts elsewhere and will make a follow-up post with my list and discoveries.
