Hey Rob,

Just as a matter of curiosity

What did you order, and when did you place the order?

Tank you very much!

Falkirk? I was there a couple of years ago during a visit to Edinburgh. That wheel of yours is mighty impressive.

Sure is, cycle the bike along the Canal to the Falkirk Wheel sometimes. Really nice cycle along the canals.

I was born in Edinburgh, moved to Falkirk around 9 years ago when the Mrs started working here.

Where do you stay matt?

It was a long weekend break for me and some of my family - We stayed at a flat on Jeffery Street on the Royal Mile. Other than the trip to Falkirk to see the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies (which are also an incredible feat of engineering) we didn't go much outside of Edinburgh Old Town (Though we did see a bit of New Town on the bus to the zoo). Another highlight was Edinburgh's Camera Obscura & World of Illusions. That place messes with your head 🙂

Don't think it's going to be today now as it's late.  Wish I knew what DHL statuses meant as I have errands to run.

Very confusing status updates from DHL.  On one hand, it says Notification for shipment event group "Out for Delivery" for 25 Feb 21 on my email but on the tracker, it says Scheduled for delivery as agreed.  I think they finish at 6:00 pm so looks like it's not coming here today and will probably be Monday now.  So close, just a few more days to wait.

Still got tomorrow 😁

Suspect I have another 3 weeks to wait. Ordered a week ago.

Have been keeping all fingers and toes crossed it arrives sooner.

@clarmrrsn

DHL is just sitting on it till the agreed delivery date that is Monday as it says this on the tracking at the very top:
Estimated Delivery:Monday, March 01, 2021By End of Day

Status still says "Scheduled for delivery as agreed"
Bit frustrating knowing that they have it but will not post it out till Monday, have the whole weekend to build it too.

Hope you get yours soon.

Check your garage 🤣

I checked my delivery this morning and it is still showing as forwarded for delivery, I had to go out and get my second CV-19 jab, I got back to a card from DHL in the postbox..

Last week DHL took a £15 order back to their depot because I was on a call and didn't get to the door quick enough. £900 printer, no problem, chuck it in the garage.

That's a bit strange.

You could phone DHL  but not sure collection's are allowed just now.

I wonder if DHL have to stick to the date arranged by Prusa, even if it arrives earlier.  Maybe a contractual agreement.

I am like a caged lion here, but nothing I can do, just got to be patient and wait.

I wonder if it is actually in quarantine - if they put any international shipments aside for a few days to reduce risk of any virus still being on any packages (COVID -19 can survive 2 to 3 days on plastic, 24 hours on cardboard)  before handling it/sending it out then they've reduced the risk of spreading it in their operations.

That's a good point and I did hear about something like this online but did not take too much notice.

Didnt think about quarantine.

Good possibility that's the reason why

I'm very careful with packages anyway, throw external packaging out then wash my hands, and then regularly throughout unpacking, but I suppose this is a wise precaution.
