TPU release easy - Glindex

I've tried a few TPU/FLEX materials, found Ninjaflex to have the most PEI affinity - and then learned glue stick is a good TPU release agent.  It works - Ninjaflex still sticks mightily with the glue stick, but manageable.  Then I made a discovery - After cycling a print the skirt needs cleaning along with the purge strip (which also needed glue stick) - instead of marching the print up to the sink to wash the hardened glue stick off to start applying more fresh glue stick, I figured maybe a little windex (I keep it around for PETG) would help soften up the baked mess to get me back in the game faster.  It worked.  It works very well.  In fact glue stick dissolves easily in windex - at which point you can use a finger or a silicone squeegie to re-deposit the glue stick.  The heat of the bed dries up the windex, and you have a very smooth layer of glue stick back in place, ready to to.

I've done this five cycles in a row and there doesn't seem to be an end to how many times I can reuse the same glue stick application.  What's even more amazing is the TPU releases nicely (not a tug of war any more) - parts are still well stuck, but not overly so at all.

Glue-stick/windex - Glindex.

I use Elmer's disappearing purple glue and water has the same effect if needed, water works with any PVA based glue stick, and in most parts of the world it's way cheaper then Windex. known for years to be a valid method.

but to each their own, good luck
