Too many changes at once has me lost, need help.

Custom built printer using Marlin firmware.

Just changed to Marlin 2.1.2.

Had to replace a stepper driver so I replaced them all. All tuned properly.

Lost a bearing in a belt roller so I changed them all. All appear to be running smoothly.

To top it off, just recently started using Prusaslicer.

The problem I'm having is printing overhangs. Just to note, I am sure this is not related solely to the slicer but when I go back to S3D, there is an improvement so I'm sure I can fine tune the slicer some.

I can print anything without overhangs and it will come out "perfect", no blobs, dimensionally accurate and solid etc.

I'm at the point where I think it's a mechanical issue but then the previous statement contradicts that.

The attached pics show the backpack and hull overhangs with the problem shown.

Printing pla at 210 and 65. Tried rotating model different ways with same results. Tried different temps and cooling, same results.

Any advice very much welcome.

What filament are you using?  It looks like you are printing too hot.

Your first layer 'Z' calibration is too high, you need more squish.

No mention of which pla, for some manufacturers that would be too hot.

I'd love to know how you came up with Z layer being off from those pics but no, the z is good.

As for temp, I've been using the same PLA (Hatchbox) for years and on multiple printers with that temp and it's been fine.

I'll try a lower temp and see if there's a difference though.

looks like poor cooling that no amount of tweaking can tune out. if you want better overhang, print slower (10mm/s or less) and have better cooling. I use 5015 fans that sound like jets taking off and it allows for crazy overhang and bridges. you can also check out the dual 5015 options

The bottom of your benchy shows a first layer in serious need of more squish.  The Z is bad.

Also clean and check your fans and the fan shroud.  210 and 60 are suggested for that PLA so your settings should look better than they do.  Are you using the Hatchbox profile from the dropdown?
