Stripped Screws?

I bought a used MK4. I thought it would be a good idea to tighten all screws. However, I found two screws that seem to be stripped. I watched the assembly video and can't figure out what they do. It's the top and bottom screws on the left carriage of X axis. Any idea if this is an issue? Thanks.

RE: Stripped Screws?

Is it shown in the second and third pictures for this step.

They act as stops that set the bars to the correct depth.   They don't tighten on anything.

Although most can be cinched up there are a couple of screws that should only be tightened moderately - if you've stripped out a self tapping hole then you have two options:  If you or a colleague have a working printer you can download the file and print a replacement part yourself, if not Prusa sell spares but although the parts are cheap shipping is often not... contact Prusa Support via Chat for help with this, you will need the serial number of your machine.

Sometimes a damaged channel can be filled temporarily with filler so the screws hold for long enough to print the replacement.

If you show a picture of the part in question someone here can point you to the correct file.

Cheerio,
