Steel Sheet Profiles

Good morning. I'm thinking about ordering a 2nd set of steel sheets. Do y'all find a need to have separate profiles for sheets of the same type? For example, if you have two Satin Smooth Steel Sheets, is your z-offset the same for both? And then the same for the PEI and Textured sheets.

Thank you for your feedback.

Every sheet is slightly different.  Even those of the same type.  That slight difference is often the difference between an ok first layer and a great first layer.

Very true. E.g., I have three satin sheets in rotation with my Mk3S printers, and I have 3 steel sheet profiles programmed into each printer because they're all slightly different. Which makes for a lot of fun times when you swap the nozzle and have to redo it... on paper all you'd have to do is do the recalibration once and apply the offset to each profile but alas we don't live on paper but the real and less precise world.
