Slicer Feature Ideas
I was wondering if a feature to specifically select areas to attach a brim on a model would be possible. I understand the current options to place skirts internal and/or external, but I think another option to paint edges to which a skirt can be attached would be useful.
Also, I think an option to use a wipe tower as a draft shield would be great for MMU prints.
Thoughts?

these ideas may have mileage I suggest you visit the Prusa Slicer Github, where the developers congregate, and search for similar ideas, add you support if already raised, or add a request in a new feature.

RE: Slicer Feature Ideas
Been suggested multiple times. So there are already open feature requests. I think the current main one is https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/4744 but there’s also this specific for the paint on suggestion https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/8283
We also have a PRUSA slicer specific section right at the bottom, you may want to read this thread https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/prusaslicer/is-it-possible-to-have-a-selective-brim/
RE: Slicer Feature Ideas
Selecting specific areas on a model to attach a brim could improve adhesion where needed without adding brims to the entire model. This could help reduce cleanup and material usage. Some slicers, like PrusaSlicer, already allow you to control brim width and placement (e.g., around the entire model or just specific parts), but having a "paintable" or "targeted" brim would offer even more customization. This would be particularly useful for models with narrow bases or minimal surface area, where specific parts need more adhesion support.
