Slic3r PE ABS at 255C?

Why does Slic3r PE set the nozzle temp to 255C for ABS when preheating? Most ABS is printed at a MUCH lower temp. I know the ABS sold by Prusa needs 255, but I looked over several other brands and all of them are MUCH lower.

This is going to seem obvious but they do it because they sell ABS that prints at 255. If you want a different preheat try the PETG setting as that gets set to 230/85. Another option is to just set the nozzle and bed temperature manually.

Here are several other brands which are using higher temp:

Makergeeks ABS: 255C
AmazonBasic ABS: 245-265C
Inland ABS: 240-260C

PR provides obviously default profiles for the filament they use. There is no wrong or right and there is no "default" temperature for specific plastic type. Each brand is different.
