In your tribe you don't know how to use translate?

RE: Shit case

Here is the translation according to google. Its is a national language. I do not recommend. I bought from the original site. Bad and cheap parts, made by them with a printer. Very hig level cge assembly instructions. Plastic that does not stick to the screws. Screws that break the flower, tightened to hand. I do not recommend.

Please help me out by downloading a model it's free and easy but really helps me out https://www.printables.com/@Hello_474427/models

Not able to follow you - what's your problem? You know what REPRAP is? That means a printer prints a printer ...

Stay away from drugs!

It is customary here that the person who posts the post takes care of the translation into a language readable by everyone else on the forum. And one does not use insolence here, to want this from others. The forum has clearly declared that English is spoken here.

RE: Shit case

I would assume that the OP refers to the Original Prusa Enclosure and their main gripe are the screws that need to go into untapped holes - those are really hard to fasten by hand using the tools that come in the box.

The language thing is probably a typical case of "I'm frustrated and there's no forum in my language, so I'll just put that here". Not extremely polite from the OP, but surely not a reason to be uncivil, either. 🙂

You might be right.

What holes are untapped?  I've built 2 of these now and there were not any untapped holes in mine or screws that went in hard.

Is it possible they cross threaded the holes.

RE:

I can vividly remember fastening the screws for the little locks that hold the PSU in place - untapped and very hard to properly get where they needed to go. It's something that I also wrote in my little review of the assembly process.

That being said, I would definitely not agree with the OP that the enclosure is a "shit case", quite the opposite. The part about "Screws that break the flower, tightened to hand" somehow sounded as if it might refer to those screws, though. 🙂

Your right.  Now that you say that I do remember those.  You had to use the supplied piece to hold them while you tightened the screw.

I guess I didn't see it as a big deal as I often do this on my designs vs. a threaded insert if it's something that you don't have to frequently take apart.

Agreed though it still doesn't make it a shit case.  Ha ha.
