Shipping costs
Are there any other options on shipping from Prusha? I was going to order a couple of spools of filament but the shipping costs are ridiculous the cheapest option is £25 for three spools as soon as I add the fourth one it goes up to £36.
I'm only just starting to learn about 3d printing so was hoping to stay with the filament made by Prusha to start off with, but for anything to be cost-effective I am going to have to look at buying from other suppliers.
RE: Shipping costs
There is an economy option as well
4 spools is £26.71 shipping

four spools £36.52 for me on economy. If I want to go Express it is £46.57 and still up to three days.

Ah, you are in Aberdeen Mike if I remember correctly.
Maybe that's why its slightly more expensive. Price for me for 4 rolls attached, I am in Falkirk
Could maybe contact Prusa on chat and see if any cheaper options as £36 Postage would just about pay for another 2 rolls of filament. I would not pay that myelf.
TBH I have used Amazon Basics PLA Translucent Green and PRIMA Value Black PLA from Amazon on my new MK3S+ and had no issues so far, have had as good results as with the Prusament that came free and I am pretty much a beginner as well. Only been at this around 4 months.
Got a slight corner warp on 1 print but was a large flat rectangular frame at the bottom, maybe needed a bit more bed temperature and mouse ears instead of a 5mm brim, but was very slight so the print was usable. It was also my only overnight print so maybe temp related.
Just ran all at stock temps so far.
I might order some Prusa filament with spares but the delivery costs really stick in my throat as well.
Surely they could negotiate a cheaper postage deal for customers, it must stop a lot of people buying filament.

Thanks, I'll have a look at the Amazon stuff, I wanted to keep it 'stock' to start with so that when things go wrong, which they will as I learn, it is one less thing to have to factor in.
Amazon Prime will be earning its money 🤣
