Replace MK3S heatbreak? Titanium vs Steel?

So just watched 3DPN's Video about the I3 MK3 Heatbreak  causing jams with certain filaments due to the design of the heatbreak being optimized for MMU usage. ( ). Since I never plan to get an MMU, should I just order a straight barrel heatbreak to eliminate any potential issues completely? If so, should I get the stock steel heatbreak or opt for the Titanium heatbreak for a few dollars more?

Thanks everyone!

I worked with the stepped heatbreak for 18 months with no issues, so having one is not a guarantee of problems. I wouldn't feel compelled to replace it unless you're experiencing actual problems such as heat creep in the heatbreak. That said, if you're tearing your hotend down at any point, you might as well upgrade a few things. When I stripped my heater block, I replaced the heatbreak with a Titanium version for better heat isolation (less heat creep up into cold zone) and replaced the heater block with a nickel-plated copper version. I can't say that I noticed any huge improvements, but these plus a silicone sock have been producing good results for 2 years now.

@bobstro

Thanks Bob. I ended up ordering a standard one through printed solid along with a spare of everything on the hotend. Figure better to have a spare and not need it vs needing it and not having it.
