Raspberry Pi High Quality Camera
Raspberry Pi has just announced a new product:

My question would be how suitable is this for use with the Prusa as a printing monitor.
The 6mm wide angle lens seems most suitable. We need a focus range of 6" to 2' - about.
The V2 camera has real problems getting the close range focus correct. Hopefully this will fix that.
And of course we need someone to design a good mount. It comes with a tripod adapter built-in.

It will support interchangeable lenses, so this will be your limit for focusing, but in theory you could fit a macro lens for really close focusing, or lens extension tubes etc etc etc.
Normal people believe that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Engineers believe that if it ain’t broke, it doesn’t have enough features yet.
