My solution is to use Prusament exclusively.

Every <expletive> time where I've run out of these (and I just _have_ to print some part right now) and hop over to "die blaue Apotheke" (EU: name starts with C, ends with d, the logo is blue 😎 ) to buy some Verbatim or their own brand the troubles begin.

clogged heatbreak-ptfe, shitty/tangled spooling, no stickage on bed, having to faff around with <temp> (if the spool says 215-230 why do I have to print with 200?), MMU2S load/unload-errors, you name it. 🤢 

With Prusament it's "exactly what are these problems you are talking about?"
Granted, some filament-presets in Slic3rPE are off but that just means I have to figure them out _once_ and not for every damn spool.

While prusament is pricey shipping-wise in the US, there is wisdom in spending a little more to get stuff made to higher tolerances (+-0.2 or 0.3) for the MMU.

I don't want to shout it from the rooftops too soon but I've been doing some experimenting with a non-stepped titanium heat break and am getting successful toolchanges with the MMU and 3d Solutech's stuff. I did have some that needed attention but it was not related to the heatbreak area (unload failure, not a reload failure)

 My Frankenprusa has a titanium heatbreak, it's not been a problem so far!

ah yes, US might the short end of the stick re shipping; I'm lucky that Prague is ~4hrs away from here but I have not dared to show up at PR in person 'cos I have some fears concerning the beer available over there %-)

Whenever a site has a bad search I use google with the site argument. e.g. "<topic> site:forum.prusa3d.com" to take advantage of their better algorithms and indexing.

Could not be, those rolls would require their own profile? Scratched sheet to increase the adhesion? Some special juice to stick on? Remove the PEI surface? Probably the cheapest way will be to leave those rolls untouched. 😊

As my trip to Prusa shop including one change takes about 40 minutes by underground , my cheapest solution is Prusament. 😎 public transport for people of my age is in Prague free of charge, so my fillament transportation costs are zero as well.

I doubt it; that would not explain why I've printed two rolls of the stuff with the current settings without issue. If the profile was wrong, it would not have worked at all for the 2kg I've already used.

You say that jokingly but I have to wonder at what you could achieve with a pressure and viscosity sensor of some kind to detect and adapt to different filament formulations on the fly, by trying to keep the "extrusion behaviour" constant...

Sorry for joking, you are right, but then we are probably talking about the diferent printer and fillament price level. With my mk3s and potentially in the future with the MINI (after its location will be  approved by my wife) I am having a lot of fun. No need for searching /shopping any household spare parts.

FrankenPrusa... take a standard mk2.

Add

einsy. 

24 volt after market psu. 

Filament sensor fans and 4wire pinda. From mk2.5 upgrade.

24volt mk52 heatbed and removeable buildplate. 

Thingiverse z motor mounts and z top mounts from thingiverse which allow a volcano without modifying the frame. Or firmware. Add a clone v6 extruder from triangle labs with 24 volt heater and titanium heatbreak 

Leave out the x and y endstops... 

Add a revised y carriage 

Install mk3s firmware and extruder plastics. And you have Frankensteins monster. The FrankenPrusa...

And your Y axis ends up back to front.   So pop out the wires from your y motor plug. Reinsert in reverse order and all is well..

that suspiciously sounds like my "let's code this as an one-off with php/sql/powershell and tack it on as a cron-job"-hacks that turn up >10 years later and bite me in my posterior.

Back on topic:
I would love to see a pic or two of your -obviously loved- frankenstein (shall we call him Pubert? *snort*)

Anyway + preaching to the choir, I'm sure -the onverts are always the loudest ones but allow me-:
-> exactly this (*) is why I'm gonna resolve my 3D-needs (lacking a better word) with PR in the future, I won't waste my time with some shenzen-based-knockoff drek; this also includes the odd local 'manufacturer' who shall not be named.

(*) haven't tried it and most likely won't -not even for shits and giggles 'cos my truly beloved MK3S is my first from PR (#4 everything considered, the others got moved to the doghouse 'cos "come on, I just want to print a thingy and not faff around with <whatever>")
anyway: if JP dares to publicly announce that one can forklift (my wording) an MK1 to MK3 with ..just a few parts to replace... (also my wording) then consider me *sold* and it will take quite some fuckups to sway me otherwise.

/this is a statement from a really happy customer of PR, no affiliations etc, "it just works"

I suspect it Sunlu PLA+  to be a blend 0f PLA+LDPE.   

I just use a couple sheets of a4 paper taped to the print bed or Polyolefin Primer.
