PrusaSlicer Start G-Code for Anycubic Linear Plus Delta is puzzling me
Can anyone explain what the purpose of this is every time I start a print?
I'm using PrusaSlicer for my Anycubic Linear Plus delta printer, and the start G-Code drives the gantry towards the back edge of the bed and wipes it back and forth while grinding the extruder by trying to force several centimeters of filament through within a couple seconds.
Then it retracts 5mm, zeroes, extrudes 4.8mm, and proceeds towards the center of the bed to start the print.
I'm concerned about the wipe procedure building up so much pressure in the hotend that it forces melted filament back up the wrong way, is that justified?
What's even the purpose of extruding so much during the wipe?
Here's the G-Code:
I already tuned the speed of the first movement from F9000 down to F3000 as it was driving the Anycubic far beyond it's maximum rated travel speeds and was making the steppers skip, I wonder if this standard start G-Code is even safe for this printer model?
