PrusaSlicer & OctoPrint

The article https://all3dp.com/2/prusaslicer-octoprint-tutorial/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&omhide=true indicates that it is possible to control the printer directly from the PC. How do I connect the Prusa MK3 and the Prusa Mini to the PC for a good connection?

RE: PrusaSlicer & OctoPrint

use a good quality USB Cable, and Pronterface
On your PC
Close down screensavers,
Pop up notifications,
Power savers
Updates

Basically, anything  that will  disrupt smooth communication between the PC and the Printer....

Most folk, actually use a Raspberry pi with Octoprint, as an interface to prevent failures due to PC's doing odd things

Raspberry Pi 100%.  One day, your windoze machine will spontaneously reboot in the middle of a print, just because Microsoft thinks it knows better than you do.  Poof to your print, and just for that a Pi pays for itself.

Don’t trust forum advice.
