PrusaPrinters print photos aspect ratios

Can anyone tell me what aspect ratio all of the photos for the PrusaPrinters.org website uses in various displays? I'm having a real hard time getting them to display properly. It seems for the thumbnails they are square 1:1 ratio, for desktop viewing they are some other weird ratio, and on mobile viewing they are yet another ratio. So when I put pictures in my print designs, things always get cut off in the photos.

Is there any way you can use a standardized aspect ratio for the photos on the website, or tell me what crop/aspect ratio I can use so that nothing gets cut off on any viewing device?

🙂

Also while I'm at it -- is this a bug or a feature that when your prints have all 5-star reviews, they only show up as 3.5 stars?

I have no idea about the photos aspect ratios.

But when you click on the "!" behind the ratings you get this explanation:

The overall score of the model is not just an average stars awarded, it reflects the total amount of ratings as well.
For example, just a couple 5-star ratings will yield a lower score than plenty of 4-star ratings.

Ahh ok, thanks for explaining, but that seems like a very bizarre way of doing things.

Can you imagine if when you sold things on Amazon, they started with 3.5 stars when you got 5 star reviews? No one would buy your items and you'd go out of business. Lol.

Strange. But thanks for the clarification.
