Prusament and Tough PLA?
Would love to have the option to buy Tough PLA as Prusament.
https://www.matterhackers.com/store/l/pro-series-tough-pla-filament/sk/MJJWMY5G
It's a PLA thats available as
Ingeo PLA 3D870
They've added an impact modifier to PLA more heat resistant and stronger than ABS.
Also, how come there is a general Materials forum?
Thanks
Along with a printer I picked up around the first of the year I received (among other things) a partial spool of 'Tough PLA', which I used to print a Boaty McBoatface and a calibration cube.
I don't remember it requiring higher temperatures to print.
The price on the link above is twice the to-the-door street price of most PLA filaments and more than twice the street price of ABS. Not to be a snot, but I don't think the added strength justifies the price. I would probably just use ABS, which prints fine on both of my machines.
