Prusa slicer not filling in solid areas
I'm having problems with the Prusa Slicer which I'm sure is a setup or parameter option but tried everything. The slicer is not slicing the whole object. It leaves a skeleton of the drawing frame. Below is the example. I've had this problem with some other prints and had to use other slicers which always work, but the Prusa Slicer gives better prints so it's better to find the problem.
I'm using 2.2.0 but have tried 2.3.0 with the same result.
Any ideas.

Hi Howardho,
In windows if you load a part and it shows an orange triangle in the right window, like below,
you can click on the triangle and fix the errors....
If you don't
things can go wrong in odd ways
As you can see above, this model ended up with three unexpected slots

RE: Prusa slicer not filling in solid areas
Joan,
Thank you so much, that fixed it. I did notice the triangle icon but didn't appreciate what it was for and it never occurred to me that the stl was defective since other slicers overlooked the problems. Can't thank you enough.

no problems Howard,
Different slicers handle issues in different ways.
this is how Prusa slicer handles them...
