Proposal for an official Spare Part Swap forum
I propose an official forum be added for swapping spare parts of disused and damaged printers.
For instance, I have a need for a hot end for a dead MK2. It's not a spare part in the store and my printer is otherwise in excellent condition. I'm sure somebody has a printer that's falling apart in other places and we might be able to swap. I've got lots of old parts from the MK1 as well, and I don't know what to do with them.
In no way would I like to undercut the good work or profits of Josef and team—none of us would be here if not for them and I intend to keep supporting them with my money.
This is a forum to keep old printers alive so that we can make the next generation with them, or at least alongside them.

Nothing prevents you to make such a thread. Just go for it and let's see how many people are ready to swap.

That is this thread. I've declared a need for a MK2 hotend and thermistor.
But this thread will eventually get buried and messy and needs a real forum so we can have many individual threads to be effective.
The real question is would YOU want this to exist? Would you contribute or find a need for it? I can't imagine it would be harmful to create it, but it sucks not having one.
Also, I posted in the now dead MK2 forum. I got no replies. This forum would be spares for ALL printers, or at least old models.
