Problems Printing PETG (burned fat strings, dark spots)

I run into problems printing PETG. Burned spots of material and fat (burned) strings that cause layer shifting. Does anyone have an idea what is the cause of that and how to avoid it?

no Prusa Filament
Temperature Extruder 240 C
Temperature Bed 90 C
Default Printing Speed 2400

Thank you very much in advance, Stephan

Did you ever figure out what caused the issue? I am having the exact same issue with all default setting. It doesn't happen often, once awhile, I see a small string is hanging out on the heating block or nozzle which eventually fall into the print and cause that, but couldn't figure out where the string came from.
