Problem with seemlessly random layer shifts
Hello everyone!
Today I wanted to use my Printer again (i3 MK3) after about 2 months or so and i just get these abominations out of it. It seems like the shifting occours in both x-Axis and y-Axis for whatever reason.
Would be amazing if anyone had a hint for troubleshooting this. I already updated the firmware after not using the printer so long but that seems to have nothing to do with my problem.

These look like shifts one sees if motor pulleys are loose on motor shafts. They may not have been properly installed with one set screw perpendicular to shaft flat. Loosen both set screws on the pulleys. Carefully align 1st set screw against shaft flat so it is perpendicular to shaft as you tighten. Only when 1st is secured should you tighten the "jam" set screw which engages round portion of shaft. If one tightens in wrong order or has failed to place 1st perpendicular to flat, the pulley eventually loosens and wiggles a small angle back and forth. Looks like both X and Y have that issue on your printer.
PRO TIP: It is easier to attain exact set screw alignment when belt tension is loose. When belt is LOOSE, you can gradually tighten 1st screw screw and let pulley self align as screw gradually closes gap.

That worked out perfectly. Had to recalibrate all 3 Axes and redo the first layer calibration of course after I took down the motors and fixed the pulleys but after that it seems to work just fine. Thank you again.
