PrintDry Filament Dryer (LSK) PRO

Does anybody have, or use the Print-Dry LSK pro?

I'm looking for a filament dryer box and I heard this company was the best. Does anybody use this company for their filament drying? Also, are there any alternatives or am I on the right track?

RE: PrintDry Filament Dryer (LSK) PRO

I have a PrintDry Pro 3, the LSK part of that name is the "Large Spool Kit" accessory.

It's fine I guess, I don't have any objective measurements to support that though. Objectively, I can say that the PrintDry unit uses up a lot of space and I find the fan to be annoyingly loud. I had a smaller dual spool unit that frankly I liked more because it was much quieter and far more compact.

To be honest, I have never really had a problem with spool moisture, so I don't even know why I think I need one of these things.

What kind of materials do you use? Are you sure you need a dryer??

I have never used a dryer before (although I only really print PLA) and have always found things to be perfectly fine.

Don't look for solution to problems that you do not yet have...... 😉

I'm going to be printing with PLA. Does PLA absorb a lot of moisture?
