printables.com: feature request: preview for *.f3d files (fusion 360)
Hello.
Fusion 360 source project files are just .zip files:
f3d: Zip archive data, at least v1.0 to extract, compression method=store
These already contain preview in form of png in "FusionAssetName[Active]/Previews/small.png".
Checked my 20 such files - all contain small.png there.
Would be nice if printables.com started showing that as miniature in files listing etc as currently it lacks preview for such type of files.

Hello,
The f3d file format is proprietary, from AutoDesk. That means hours of development for the preview plugin can be deleted as soon as AutoDesk change the file format.
And the preview from the f3d should be very close to the 3MF file (or the STL file in your case) you post on Printables, with less information.

What?
f3d is regular ZIP file and preview is already there in form of png image. The proprietary parts are in another files inside that zip.
1 hour implementing this would be even too much in php or whatever is used there.
