Printables.com Feature Request: Improved Filtering - Block or Hide selected user and their models

I've seen topics on this back as far as 2022. (And sorry if this isn't the right place for a website feature request. Please redirect me if you can.)

Please please please, include a way on the website to filter selected users from browsing and searches.

Currently if I try to find certain models, I have to wade through all the models of a few users with very prolific model counts. I really would love a way to filter all of those users' models from view so I can actually find some of the things I want to make.

I have an example but wasn't sure I should directly link them here.  I don't want them banned or gone or anything, but I have no interest in their models and would really like to filter them from all of my searches and browsing. They frequently swamp my searches and browsing with page after page after page of models that I don't want and make it very difficult to find the relevant items I am after.

Please give some serious consideration to improved search and browsing filters, especially for hiding models by user x, as it's becoming a bigger issue as time moves on and more models are uploaded to printables.

Thanks for everything you guys already do. Really enjoy the Prusa community.

I am not sure whether there is any good place to request website changes; improving their various websites does not seem to be a priority for Prusa. Suggestions on this forum will certainly go unnoticed:  Prusa is not active here but considers it a pure "user to user" forum. Posts on Reddit (r/prusa3d) sometimes get a response from Prusa.

Agree with @Jürgen, and as much as it hurts me to say it, you're better off posting it to r/printables on Reddit as Prusa folks seem to prefer to hang out there than here

Maybe because this site here has become such a mess with the hundreds of unnecessary subforums they've created over the years…

RE:

Doesn't that feature already exist? I have blocked 5 users and the experience changed quite a bit.

I think you need to open one of an unwanted user's models, then find some three-dot (or similar) button with "don't show content from this creator" or the like.

You can manage the list in "Your account", "settings and privacy", "blocked creators".

In the same place, hide any "AI-generated content", "NSFW content", "political content".

Thanks, I thought that might be the case after something else I had read. It's a little disappointing that they don't frequent their own forums. And equally frustrating that they can't be bothered to improve their websites.

Oh ffs...Man that's aggravating. I was looking all over for that. Thank you so much! I feel a bit like an idiot, but it's also somewhat obscure so I only feel a little dumb. I never clicked into the models. I had tried the profile and from the results page, but didn't think to go into the model as I figured it'd be too granular.  Thanks again, this will help a ton!
