PETG Print Bed Problem?

I recently just printed a model with supports using PETG. For some reason it stuck incredibly well to my print bed. As in, I can’t get it off.

I don’t know if it’s the type of print sheet I used or if I didn’t clean my sheet well enough before I printed my model.

I used a smooth PEI sheet. Along with Prusament.

What should I do?

RE:

I always use the textured sheet for PETG. There is a chart on the Prusa site showing the appropriate print sheet for each type of filament.

If the coating has not lifted or the sheet has bent you might be able to clean it out smooth with some solvent and still use the other side.

I think others have posted here in the past on the issue also.

RE: PETG Print Bed Problem?

https://help.prusa3d.com/filament-material-guide PETG + PEI sheet are going to fuse with each other, so this is really nit recommended.

Try to flex the bed in all directions to try to remove the printed parts and scrub it, optionally heat it up on the printer bed to 90C. Optionally use solvents to help to clean it off ( sometimes certain hair sprays help).  When printing use glue stick

In worst case scenario use a sanding paper or just buy a new print sheet.

See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.
