For your use case where you mention 'wheels' then something along the lines of a good old 608

Okay, I see what you're talking about. So this would be embedded in my print object and I'd still need to get wheels. I'm thinking using two of these with an axle going through them and a wheel in between?

What about something like casters - so the camera trolley rides on rolling bearings instead of a wheel? One reason I'm asking is because of size. I want to use something like this articulated camera mount system so I (or anyone else, if I put it on Printables) can position the camera where desired. The issue with that is that the camera could be mounted in such a way that the camera trolley would not be balanced, so I was imaging something that might have a close fit around other parts in such a way so it won't tip over. I can visualize doing that with something smaller that would use casters, but not something bigger with bearings like that and wheels.

No, just use the bearings as wheels. Use a bolt as an axle and print tracks to run along, either a U channel or L shaped
