RE: Open source for 3D models
I have to say I'm impressed by Prusa adding a significant bunch of Mechanical Design data to the MINI mechanical repository, probably following this issue: Prusa Mini Open Source Design.
Additionally to STL and STEP 3d representations, there are now components in native Inventor format, BOM with linked 2D-Drawings including relevant specifications and tolerances.
