OctoPrint Online Security

I found this information from a CR-10 Facebook post and thought I would introduce it here since so many people use OctoPrint. I haven't used it yet myself, but I've bought the hardware.
Hope you all find it informative.

Re: OctoPrint Online Security

I would also suggest Octoprint users read this if they are wanting any sort of remote access to their printer:

In a nut shell - Octoprint is not a security issue if used correctly. It's the user who doesn't set the tool up correctly who is the security issue. It is the same for remotely accessed CCTV cameras and any other "smart" home device that the user has decided to "port forward" on their home internet router.
