Nozzle sizes and printer hardware setup question
Does changing the nozzle size in the hardware setup on the printer have any functional effect on the print, or is it just a check/warning when the printer and the gcode don't match? Meaning, if a model is sliced for a 0.8 nozzle (and the 0.8 nozzle is installed in the printer), does it matter that I didn't change the printer hardware setting (on the printer display) to the 0.8 from its previous 0.4 setting?
TIA,
Erik
RE: Nozzle sizes and printer hardware setup question
It's purely cosmetic. Unless you have set nozzle check to strict in which case the printer would refuse to print if the slicer setting is different from the nozzle setting in the hardware menu.

Thanks; that's about what I thought, but I didn't know about the "strict" setting.
