RE: button
Anyone else having trouble with the attach file button ? I just replied to a post and tried to attach a small zip file and it did nothing. No upload and nothing indicating it was attaching anything. The Add Media button worked though which is what I ended up using.
Confirmed: it does nto appear to work, but this file was still added.

knowledge base knock on effect
Thanks Charles.
One other thing I noticed, although not with the forum as such, on things like the knowledge base there's a section at the bottom that normally has the most recent/top posts from the forum displayed. That doesn't seem to be loading anymore since the forum update.

Same here, OSX and Firefox. Dialog pops up, but whatever you select, nothing happens. However, as @cwbullet pointed out, file types that are acceptable are getting uploaded (without any indication). And not acceptable filetypes do not generate an error message. I'd put that upload behavior into the "serious bug" category.

RE: Use of title in comments
Ha, I think I just discovered what the title in the comments does!
I suspect it shows up in the Subject line of a notification, after the thread title
Like in this example. I don't see "button" anywhere in the post, so I assume it's what neophyl used as the title for his response.
At least I can't recall seeing this before on notifications.

Whoops 🙂
I'd better be careful then lol. I've been putting random crap in there 🙂 Things like "Useless title" as a tame example.

I attached a file the other day and although it did not give any indication that it took, it was included with the posting.
Nailed it.

You nailed it. That being said - it is a bit of a nuisance.

Agreed
Agreed. It feels unnecessary and just a nuisance.

There once was a man from Nantucket ...
I would like a button like the one in Google that allows me to "Mark all as Read" in each category such as General Discussion in the MK3 section.
Yes, I would like to see that too.
👍🏻
Doesn't really affect me personally as I'm following the forums via an RSS reader, but certainly not a bad idea for those who peruse the forums on the website directly.

Already exists

Have a look to the forum footer, you will find a few interesting links 😉
Not quite the same request though

That marks everything as read, The request seemed to be for a button to mark individual forums as read. This function is quite common on a lot of forums. Personally I dont mind just have the mark all link as we have now, then again I didnt request the addition 🙂

It appears to accept just a space...
Cheerio,
useless title
I willing to accept that its just me, but the forums seem to be much worse now then every before, I haven't received a notification in days, new features aren't working for me, aside from the answer tag showing up in green now, and months later I still can't get onto the prints pages, fortunately I have nothing posted there so no loss.
@Prusa company, there are companies out there that build proper websites and properly structured social media sites for a living and at reasonable cost, I'm going to suggest looking into this, if you haven't already.

maybe wrong but ....
I still can't get onto the prints pages,
May be way off but I note that I get the same result with Waterfox but not with latest Firefox.
@swiss-cheese
What's your configuration? I'm running Windows 10/Chrome as well as MacOS Big Sur/Firefox, no issues.

RE: Oh Look! That non-optional title thing is finally doing something. I dare say someone will now abuse it to contain their whole post and pollute the title space with pointless prolixities that exceed the width of the test field as some sort of tes...
Just like this, it did cut off the end of my entry though.

That didn't work.
See title, still not available.
